Job Summary
Conduct rear-load waste collection routes safely, on time, and in accordance with service expectations while complying with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, document DVIRs, and coordinate with helpers to collect and load waste into the truck using packer controls. Ensure streets are left clean, report service issues or hazardous waste, and maintain communication with dispatch throughout the shift. This full-time role includes early morning starts Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, offering a sign-on bonus, competitive salary, and year-round work opportunities within a growing waste management company.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Valid DOT medical certification
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Full-time, early morning start
- Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays
- Work performed in residential neighborhood
