Job Summary
Drive and operate a company truck to pick up, haul, and unload industrial waste, including hazardous and non-hazardous materials, within oil and gas refineries. Safely operate and maintain vehicles and specialized equipment for vacuum truck operations, tank cleaning, and waste transport. Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, set up and break down job site equipment, and ensure full compliance with DOT regulations while maintaining accurate logs. Perform hazard recognition, wear required PPE, and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding job status and safety concerns. Complete and submit accurate job reports and logs. Maintain clean vehicles and assist in daily field maintenance tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL holder
- one year of driving experience with no restrictions
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery or commercial vehicles in an industrial setting
- Hazmat/Tanker Endorsements
- Ability to perform manual labor, including heavy lifting and working in confined spaces
- Must submit to a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screen and ongoing random testing
