CDL-Medical Equipment Delivery Driver

Job Summary
Make deliveries in a straight truck or van up to 16 feet in length, delivering and educating patients on safe use and care of respiratory equipment at their residences. Document patient interactions for compliance and billing accuracy, and resolve equipment problems on an as needed basis. Perform face-to-face interactions to build trust, check-in regularly to ensure proper and safe use, and provide empathetic communication supporting patient health and quality of life. Lift, pull, push, and carry heavy equipment daily up to 165lbs. Work local routes with flexible start times, with opportunities for overtime and on-call work with premium pay. Serve patients in homes, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and VA hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Current state issued driver's license
- Class C CDL
- Acceptable criminal background check and motor vehicle record check
- Pass a mandated drug test
- Pass a physical capability test
- Pass DOT Physical
- Ability to lift, pull, push and carry heavy equipment daily
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Customer service skills
