CDL Mechanic/Lube Tech

Job Summary
Perform mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs of heavy quarry/construction equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Volvo) and diesel engines. Rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance on diesel-powered equipment. Weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment. Work at Woodbine Quarry in Chapman, KS; requires safety-first mindset and ability to work 40+ hours weekly in a surface mine setting; expects proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools and strong problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required
- CDL and a clean driving record
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Minimum 5 years of experience with CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/diesel engine repairs
- Certification from a trade school is preferred
