Job Summary
Operate tractor-trailer within a private fleet to pick up, transport, and deliver freight regionally with home daily schedule and no-touch/drop-and-hook routes. Perform routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance, document and refer defects, ensure compliance with FMCSA rules, accurately log work/rest with ELD, load/unload materials, and manage shipping documents (manifests, bills of lading). Communicate with Dispatch/Operations to report movements, equipment or cargo issues, and delays; represent the company professionally. Adhere to company policies, complete required paperwork, and meet safety and regulatory requirements; participate in safety training and bonuses as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 23 years of age
- Must have and maintain a current valid commercial driver’s license
- License must be a Class A with HAZ-MAT endorsement
- At least 2 years of CDL experience preferred
- Required 2 Years Clean MVR
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to operate electronics (tablets, computer, e-logs)
