Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive CDL training for students across basic, advanced, and specialized tractor-trailer courses. Drive and instruct students on skills driving ranges and in trucks during 4 to 12 hour shifts, assessing performance and providing guidance on maneuvers. Demonstrate knowledge of safe truck driving principles, interstate operation laws, and the full SAGE curriculum subject matter. Maintain a favorable attitude toward performance characterized by professionalism, respect, and safety. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Minimum two (2) years of practical trucking related experience
- A safe CDL A driving record as determined by the SAGE Safety Department
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of safe truck driving
- Knowledge of all laws and regulations covering tractor-trailer interstate operations
- Capability to demonstrate the SAGE curriculum subject matter for students

- Meeting the minimum qualifications for interstate tractor-trailer drivers in accordance with all requirements of the applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Meeting the physical and driver qualification standards of Part 391
- Ability to pass as D.O.T. drug/alcohol screen
