Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive CDL training for students across basic, advanced, and specialized tractor-trailer courses. Drive and instruct students on skills driving ranges and in trucks during 4 to 12 hour shifts, communicating maneuvers and assessing performance on roads. Demonstrate knowledge of safe truck driving principles, interstate operation laws, and SAGE curriculum subject matter while maintaining a professional attitude focused on safety and motivation. Meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT drug/alcohol screening requirements. Enjoy home nights and weekends, paid vacations, and 401K matching.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Minimum two (2) years of practical trucking related experience that demonstrates instructional competency
- A safe CDL A driving record as determined by the SAGE Safety Department
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of safe truck driving and all of the laws and regulations covering tractor-trailer interstate operations

- Meeting the physical and driver qualification standards of Part 391
- Ability to pass as D.O.T. drug/alcohol screen
