Job Summary
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections using an electronic tablet, record time worked, and ensure all fittings and equipment are available for assigned jobs prior to departure. Operate the Hot Oiler for heating purposes while enforcing company safety policies, following traffic laws, and communicating effectively with managers, dispatchers, and teammates. Report accidents, near misses, and safety violations immediately, maintaining good housekeeping on all vehicles and equipment. Complete company and client paperwork accurately and on time, practicing safe work in extreme weather conditions and rough terrain. Requires Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, current medical certification, and two years of Class A CDL driver experience.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
- Current valid medical certification
- 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL driver
- Ability to read a map or receive directions over the phone or electronic tablet
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to hear well
- Will lift weights up to 50 pounds
- Must lift, push, pull and hold heavy objects
- Will climb stairs
- Must bend, stretch and twist side to side daily
Desired Qualifications
- Hazmat helpful
- Safeland training certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
