Job Summary
CDL Highway Maintenance Technician responsible for culvert clearing, mowing roadside brush, patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders, assisting in storm cleanup, fence and sign repair, litter/debris removal, and emergency response. Will operate equipment and use hand tools (shovels, rakes, brooms) and power tools (chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers) under close supervision while training in Highway/Roadway Routine Maintenance. Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent and a Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with at least 3 years of clean driving; ability to work days/nights and overtime; withstand adverse weather; lift moderately heavy objects; bend/ climb/ stand/ stoop/ walk for long periods; accurate eye-hand coordination. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with at least 3 years of clean driving

- Able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Able to lift moderately heavy objects
- Be able to bend, climb, stand, stoop, or walk for long periods of time
- DOT experience is preferred
