Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment including trucks, front end loaders, dozers, and trenchers to install electrical and gas lines for local utility companies. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, clean equipment as scheduled, and ensure safe storage. Advise supervisors on maintenance needs, participate in routine maintenance, maintain job site inventory, and complete proper paperwork. Work 8+ hours daily with overtime and weekend availability in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Lift 75 lbs and bend, stoop, and twist continuously.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in equipment operating and maintenance
- Valid drivers license with a CDL Class A
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and randoms
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
- Ability to work in extreme conditions – Temps below freezing and above 100 Degrees F
- Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
- Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (Overtime/weekend work will be required)
