Job Summary
Deliver products to customer locations and job sites while adhering to all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Inspect vehicles before and after trips, load and unload orders ensuring hazardous materials are properly separated, and double-check purchase orders to reduce errors. Support job site safety by reporting potential hazards and take photos of delivered products as required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and receipts using basic computer skills. Requires a valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement, current DOT medical certification, and a clean driving record. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work in varied weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- HAZMAT Endorsement
- Current DOT Medical Certification
- Completion of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) Registration
- Ability to continuously lift and handle freight/materials up to 100 pounds
- Must be 21 years old for transporting hazardous materials
- A clean driving record (no hit & runs and no DWI/DUI in the last 18 months)
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance and OSHA safety regulations
- Basic computer skills to record deliveries and track inventory on a computer or tablet
- Must meet DOT medical certification standards to operate vehicles safely
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- No prior experience required; however, commercial driving experience with DOT/OSHA safety regulations are a preferred
- While there is no specified minimum year of commercial driving experience required, having prior commercial driving experience and an understanding of DOT & OSHA safety regulations is considered advantageous for this role
