CDL Front Load Truck Driver

Job Summary
Operate front-load trucks to service approximately 100–150 commercial customers daily, emptying containers and hauling waste to disposal sites. Maintain route sheets, conduct pre- and post-trip inspections with DVIR logs, and perform daily truck cleanliness. Visually inspect containers for safe dumping, clean packer blades using Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and open service gates while interacting professionally with customers. Frequently lift up to 50 lbs and work outside in varying conditions. Requires a Class B CDL, DOT medical card, and 1–2 years of front-load experience. Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least a valid Class B CDL
- Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years
- Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
- Must be able to read and speak the English language
- Must be able to read and understand a map and/or navigation system
- Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills
- General knowledge of truck mechanics
- Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers
- Ability to travel between offices, as required
- Ability to work flexible hours; expected to work nights and weekends as needed
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 CDL truck driving experience preferred
- Front Load truck driving experience preferred
- Waste industry experience, a plus
