Job Summary
Operate a front-load truck to collect and transport waste from commercial, industrial, and residential customers while demonstrating strong vehicle control in tight or congested environments. Comply with all applicable DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies, including performing and documenting pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Execute routes safely and on time, navigating high-density service areas and maintaining productivity standards by communicating service delays to dispatch. Operate hydraulic lifting systems to safely service commercial dumpsters, ensuring containers are fully emptied and returned to proper placement without property damage. Clean up any spilled waste or debris to maintain safe and professional customer sites. Complete route sheets, service logs, and DVIRs accurately while maintaining communication with operations leadership. Full-time, early morning start times Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Valid DOT medical certification
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles in tight environments
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to climb in and out of truck
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be available for early morning start times
- Must be available Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of CDL driving experience
- Experience with front-load or hydraulic equipment
