CDL Freight Transport Driver

Operate transportation equipment for pick-up and delivery of machinery, parts, and similar loads. Drive trucks with or without trailers, load and unload parts and equipment, and secure loads with chains or straps. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensure loads are properly prepared and manifested, and comply with DOT, state, and local regulations. Assist in loading/unloading, maintain equipment, monitor safety practices, and report any vehicle or load issues. Maintain awareness of safety policies and endure a safety-sensitive role while demonstrating effective communication and teamwork in a trucking environment.
