Job Summary
Foreman leads a 2-5 person tree crew in performing all aspects of tree pruning and removal for major electric utility providers. Responsibilities include pruning treetops, repairing damaged trees, removing broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects, applying industry pruning guidelines, conducting job-site inspections with proper planning and execution, maintaining and operating tools and equipment (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts), and mentoring/training new employees. Must complete Davey Tree orientation and safety courses (First Aid, CPR, defensive driving). Preferred qualifications include line clearance experience and relevant pesticide licenses; ISA/TCIA certifications are a plus. The position is full-time with a compensation range of $25.00-$26.00 per hour based on experience and CDL status, along with comprehensive benefits and employee-focused programs.
