Job Summary
Greet customers, provide safe transportation, and assist with luggage while operating 33+ passenger shuttle buses at the Philadelphia International Airport. Ensure the bus is mechanically sound, perform required maintenance inspections, and report any safety hazards to management. Follow traffic regulations, use defensive driving skills, and operate the radio professionally using ten codes to maintain communication with base and other operators. Adhere to route and bus spacing standards as required by location busing protocols. The role offers a starting rate of $25.50 per hour with a $1,500 hiring bonus and shift differential pay for weekend hours. A fluctuating flex-shift schedule provides coverage across the 24/7 operation, with hours adjusting weekly to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Minimum of 6 months of bus driving experience
- Must be flexible and available to work varying hours week to week
- Requires ability to perform manual labor (i.e., bending, lifting, etc.)
- Must have a PA, NJ, or DE Commercial Driver's License (CDL, A or B Class only) with Passenger and Brake Endorsement
- Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes to the location(s) listed above within 30 days of anticipated start date
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment DOT physical exam & drug test to obtain a Medical Card as required by the USDOT
- No moonlighting is allowed (no other paid employment allowed)
