Job Summary
Operate single, tandem, or multi-axle trucks to deliver and pick up agronomy or energy products between company and customer locations according to scheduled timelines. Perform and record daily pre-trip safety checks for fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes; follow preventative maintenance procedures and keep vehicles clean. Safely load and unload containers, pallets, and materials using forklifts, ensuring loads are balanced and compliant with DOT axle weight requirements. Complete deliveries and pickups on schedule while providing professional, customer-focused service. Submit required documentation, including bills of lading, delivery slips, and invoices, and maintain accurate logbooks and cargo records. Work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant, operating in extreme weather and potentially hazardous conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of related experience to demonstrate safe operation of tractor-trailer or tender truck equipment and meet company and DOT standards
