Job Summary
Operate hydraulic dredging equipment to remove residuals from wastewater ponds and transfer materials to belt filter press processing systems; perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on dredging and dewatering equipment; monitor performance and adjust operations to maintain efficiency and safety; collaborate with team on environmental remediation projects; on-the-job training provided for hydraulic dredging and dewatering operations; physically capable of outdoor work in all weather, lifting up to 50 pounds, and willing to travel to project sites; typical schedule involves 40+ hours per week and overtime during peak periods.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with <6 points; no DUI within last 6 years
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and fitness for duty physical
- English language proficiency; ability to read, write, comprehend safety and operational instructions
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude; ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment
- Capacity to work with limited supervision after training
