CDL Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
Class B CDL dump-truck operator required (Class A preferred) to transport aggregates, asphalt, rock, and other materials to construction sites. Responsibilities include safe operation of a commercial vehicle, adherence to DOT regulations and company policies, completing pre-trip/in-route/post-trip inspections, communicating with dispatch about delivery schedules and issues, and maintaining safety standards and vehicle maintenance. Preferred experience with Class A CDL and hauling heavy equipment; strong problem-solving and customer-service skills; effective communication and compliance with safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record
- 1-2 years documented CDL dump truck driving experience
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to sit for long periods while driving
- Ability to climb in and out of the truck cabin and trailer
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks
