Job Summary
CDL Drivers are responsible for performing daily equipment maintenance and inspections while operating mixer trucks and quad-axle dump trucks in a safe and efficient manner. Key qualifications include a strong commitment to jobsite safety, at least 12 months of relevant driving experience in the construction industry, adherence to safety policies, and familiarity with DOT regulations. Candidates must possess a valid Class A or B driver’s license and are required to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check. The position may require work during days, nights, and weekends, as well as in adverse weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- At least 12 months of relevant driving experience in the construction industry
- Strong commitment to jobsite safety
- Operational knowledge and skills of trucks and related equipment including end dump, belly dump, tandem, flow boy, or super dump
- Experience with off highway driving in construction sites
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check and TXDOT physical
- Maintain current State issued Class A or B driver’s license
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- MVR Record must meet company and DOT standards
- Familiarity with securing heavy and/or oversized loads
- Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States
