Job Summary
Operate a 26-foot box truck to support branch transfers and local customer deliveries across the Twin Cities and St. Cloud area. Load, secure, and unload freight while verifying orders and transporting hazardous materials in accordance with DOT regulations. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate delivery records, and communicate professionally with customers and branch staff. Begin and end each shift at the Roseville distribution center with a 6:00 AM start time on a Monday–Friday schedule. No overnight travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class C minimum
- Current Hazmat (H) endorsement
- Valid DOT Medical Certificate
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to meet all DOT driver qualification requirements
- Ability to safely operate a 26-foot box truck
- Dependable attendance and ability to consistently report for a 6:00 AM start
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle products associated with deliveries
- Must be skilled in verbal and written communication
- Have sufficient education to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must have basic math skills
- Required to accept and follow all safety rules and policies
- Required to use all mandated safety protective equipment
- Individual must agree to take pre-employment drug test
- Individual must agree to background check
- Individual must comply with all Company policies and procedures
- Must be able to meet mobility requirements which include walking, standing, reaching, leaning forward, bending, climbing, and able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift and/or pallet jack experience preferred
- Previous local delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with Samsara systems preferred
