CDL DRIVER

CDL Driver delivering lumber and building materials to customers. Responsibilities include loading and tying down materials, verifying loads against invoices, unloading at customer sites (manually or with a fork truck/helper), collecting signatures and CODs when needed, ensuring safe handling to prevent damage, complying with DOT and safety regulations, maintaining vehicle readiness and logs, reporting mechanical issues, and performing yard duties when not driving. Requires safe operation of assigned vehicle, adherence to safety procedures, ability to complete daily maintenance logs, and strong teamwork and customer service attitudes. Experience with material handling, regulatory compliance, and dedication to prompt, efficient, and safe deliveries is expected.
