CDL DRIVER

Drive assigned company vehicles to deliver lumber and building materials to customers, assisting with loading, tie-down, and unloading using manual labor or forklifts. Verify loads against invoices, collect CODs, and obtain customer signatures while maintaining vehicle operational readiness through daily servicing. Adhere to all State and Federal safety laws, complete required DOT testing and training, and accurately log all truck reports and maintenance. Report mechanical issues, accidents, or near misses to the Yard Foreman and promptly address unanticipated situations. Maintain courteous interactions with customers and yard personnel while ensuring safe, efficient deliveries.
