Job Summary
Load, secure, and drive Company vehicles to deliver finished goods to customer shops or jobsites. Follow maps or written directions to complete deliveries, obtain valid signatures on all documents, and safely operate piggyback forklifts for loading and unloading. Perform daily truck inspections, complete driver logs, and lift boxes of material to stage containers for shipment. Operate available equipment to ready crates and boxes, then load and unload pipe and material from flat bed and box type trailers. Maintain flexibility for nights, weekends, or early morning deliveries while adhering to all DOT and licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-B license
- equipment certifications (crane, industrial truck)
- Minimum of 6 months in a previous driving position
- Proven ability to mount/unmount and secure piggyback units safely
- Basic keypad and/or keyboard skills
- Basic arithmetic skills required using whole numbers and decimals
- Moffet/Piggyback Forklift Experience
- Must be flexible and available for nights, weekends or early morning deliveries
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with RF technology used in bar coding environment helpful
