Job Summary
Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles to deliver to active construction sites and completed build locations, with city-based deliveries and possible inter-state travel. Performs pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections, maintains DOT logs, ensures safety and regulatory compliance, loads and unloads materials, and provides professional customer service at job sites. Utilizes forklift to move materials, secures loads, verifies order accuracy, and adheres to DOT rules and company policies while coordinating with dispatchers for on-time deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers required
- 1-2 years CDL experience preferred
- Experience transporting and handling lumber and building materials required
- Licenses and Certifications Class A CDL License or Class B CDL License required
