Job Summary
Drive a company vehicle to safely transport guests to and from airports and throughout the Pinehurst resort property. Promptly respond to shuttle calls, assist passengers with luggage and golf clubs, and play designated DVDs for arriving guests. Complete daily vehicle inspections, log assignments, and maintain cleanliness and fuel levels. Prepare coolers with bottled water for transfers and ensure all CDL documentation and random drug screenings are current. Confirm next-day schedules with the Transportation Coordinator and double-check tickets upon arrival.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- minimum of 5 years related experience operating a licensed motor vehicle
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- valid Commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement
- successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- annual MVRs
- Maintain CDL license with Passenger endorsement
- DOT physical
- Follow safe, defensive driving practices
- obey all traffic laws, regulations, signals and markings
- use a seat belt
- follow Company policies and procedures
- Substance Abuse Policy
- Never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications
- report any accidents immediately
- cooperate fully with insurance claims investigations
- Follow by all CDL requirements
