Job Summary
Complete Republic Services' comprehensive CDL training program, including classroom study, on-route training, and driving experience with access to a loaner truck. Successfully pass the state CDL examination and complete twelve full months of employment in a Driver role across Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll-Off lines. Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections, monitor waste for safety issues, and safely operate heavy trucks to disposal sites following route sheets and dispatcher assignments. Adhere to all safety policies, clean waste from packer blades, and report operational concerns to minimize downtime.
Required Qualifications
- No prohibitions to acquiring a commercial drivers' license
- Starting Rate: $22.50/hr USD
- Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $19.70 to $21.67*
- This position requires a CDL permit
