Job Summary
Conduct Class A CDL deliveries, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, loading, securing, and unloading equipment while complying with all DOT laws and FMCSA policies. Verify loads for accuracy, report any defects or deficiencies to a supervisor, and log all on-duty, driving, and off-duty hours legally. Maintain the vehicle, keep it clean, manage the PO policy process, and assist with tasks such as running trash dumpsters to a landfill or washing and patching containment when CDL duties are not needed. Travel up to 25% of the time, with a starting pay of $29.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- CLASS A CDL
- Current Medical Card
- 2+ yrs. driving experience
- 1+ yrs. load securement experience
- Understanding of DOT regulations
- Understanding Load Securement
- Ability to load and unload equipment such as manlifts, loaders, telehandlers
- Ability to drive a Company Vehicle in a legal, safe and professional manner
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors and customers
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of FMCSA policies
- Computer Proficiency
- Capability of lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Must pass pre-employment fit test
- Travel up to 25% of time
