Job Summary
Drive various trucks and equipment between intrastate job sites, moving aggregates, parts, muck, and other materials with a focus on flatbed and dump trucks. Load and unload trucks with heavy equipment as needed, securing all cargo properly and assisting with offloading and spotting. Inspect truck condition daily prior to driving and report any maintenance issues to technicians and managers. Perform site cleanup and maintenance tasks including cleaning, painting, sweeping, and debris disposal. Requires a Class A CDL, valid US driver's license, and ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted. Extended hours, weekend work, and outdoor conditions are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial Driver License Class A
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid US drivers' license with good driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen
- Ability to lift and haul 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend, push and pull
- Position may require extended hours and weekend work
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience driving with a Class A or B CDL
- Experience with end dump, belly dump and/or side dump
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as a skid steer, wheel loader, telehandler, etc
- Good communication skills
- Displays a willingness to work hard and be at job on time
