Job Summary
Select Chemistry’s CDL Hazmat Driver operates a truck with 26,000+ lbs GVW, delivering chemicals to regional internal customer sites. Responsibilities include loading/unloading oilfield equipment, maintaining DOT logs, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, basic vehicle maintenance, and coordinating with the supervisor for repairs. Requires Forklift use at delivery sites, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently while serving as a strong, collaborative team member.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Must possess valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle
- At least 2 years of related experience preferred
- DOT logs and pre-trip/post-trip inspections per DOT requirements
- Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment physical
- Proven safety record and ability to work in oilfield environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Chemical experience is a plus
