Job Summary
Operate a commercial motor vehicle to perform safe collection services on assigned routes (garbage/recycling). Conduct pre/post-trip inspections per FCC/DOT requirements, manage vehicle controls, and ensure on-time service while maintaining safety and compliance. Interact professionally with dispatchers, co-workers, and customers; complete paperwork accurately; monitor vehicle readiness to minimize downtime; adhere to safety procedures and company policies. Requires Class B CDL and ability to lift heavy objects; on-boarding includes drug-testing and DOT-regulated qualifications. Benefits and comprehensive coverage are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Class B commercial driver’s license
- Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary
- Must meet all qualifications as defined under Department of Transportation regulations
- Clearinghouse profile required
- FCC is a drug-free workplace. Substance abuse guidelines are in place. Substance abuse testing is a requirement for both the initial on-boarding procedure and random testing for continued employment.
