Job Summary
Conduct safe and efficient operation of rear load, front load, side load, and roll off trucks on designated residential and commercial routes. Perform pre/post trip inspections, navigate congested roadways and lots, and provide courteous waste removal services while completing assigned route sheets. Empty receptacles, clean spill areas, and accurately complete federally mandated paperwork. Notify dispatch of service interruptions, accidents, or unsafe situations and attend all scheduled training programs. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to community goals as part of Casella's Career Pathways Program.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A or B CDL License
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Physical ability to handle objects more than 50lbs frequently throughout the day
- Ability to work under many different weather conditions
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Drug screen
