Job Summary
CDL Driver for Roll-Off with a $3,500 sign-on bonus. Operates heavy-duty trucks with front, side, or rear-end load lift attachments across roll-off, waste collection, and recycling lines. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, complying with WM safety, OSHA and DOT requirements, maintaining route efficiency, communicating with operations/dispatch, and ensuring customer sites are left clean. Roles involve navigating high-traffic roadways, backing maneuvers, and potentially residential pickups. Walk-in interviews are offered Wednesdays in Columbus, OH. Required Qualifications
- 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- CDL Class A with air-brake endorsement upon hire or CDL Class B with air-brake endorsement upon hire
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited) preferred
