Job Summary
Operate a residential/recycling collection truck to collect solid waste and/or recyclables on assigned curbside and/or backdoor routes; load and compact waste, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain route quality while adhering to safety standards. Communicate vehicle issues to supervisors, support route efficiency improvements, manage equipment operation, and demonstrate professional demeanor while serving customers on route.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience
- Must meet safety-sensitive functions criteria
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents and maps
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
