Job Summary
Conduct complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, and safety equipment meet company standards, reporting any defects immediately. Safely operate a heavy commercial truck, tractor trailer, or straight truck with a pup trailer along designated routes to deliver and remove large containers, adhering to all state and federal regulations. Perform minor repairs to containers on site or in the yard, identify unsatisfactory waste, and clean spill areas while maintaining operational readiness to minimize downtime. Complete daily vehicle condition reports, route sheets, and productivity tracking as required. Maintain courteous interactions with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
Required Qualifications
- Class A Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred
