Job Summary
CDL Driver for ready-mix operations in Batesville, AR. Safely operate and maneuver a commercial vehicle to transport ready mix to and from job sites, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure cargo, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records, communicate with dispatch regarding schedules and delays, and adhere to safety protocols. This full-time role requires travel as needed, overtime, nights and weekends, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and life insurance. Safety-sensitive position.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CDL Driver, preferably in the construction industry
- Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Ability to operate and maneuver large commercial vehicles in various weather and road conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions and instructions
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Some travel is required for this position
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screen
- Work overtime, nights, and weekends, as needed
- Must be able to climb, sit, stand for extended period of times, and lift up to 25 lbs
