Job Summary
Deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites and perform truck inspections; review delivery tickets for addresses and product needs, clarify concerns with dispatch, and add ingredients such as fiber or admixtures as directed. Perform routine plant maintenance, operate or use small tools, and assist with unloading and chutes from the truck. Maintain safety, communicate with dispatch throughout the delivery process, refuel when needed, and comply with DOT requirements. Expect flexible hours, long shifts, and the physical demands of climbing in/out of the truck and handling up to 80-pound loads in various weather and terrain. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid State-Issued Driver’s License, Class A or B
- Pre-employment background check, MVR overview, physical/DOT, and drug/alcohol testing
- Proficient read, write, and speak English
- Ability to understand and read GPS from company issued tablet
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
