Job Summary
Safely operate a truck in accordance with federal, state, and company regulations while efficiently loading and delivering perishable product to customers. Complete required pre and post trip inspections, evaluate slump, and maneuver the truck on the job site to attach chutes and discharge material. Communicate with dispatch and management to facilitate information flow, assist with plant maintenance and cleanup when not driving, and keep the truck clean. Maintain a clean driving record and pass pre-employment processes including background checks and DOT physical. Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime are required with outdoor exposure to extreme heat and cold.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and customers
- Ability to pass pre-employment process, including criminal background check, DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, early mornings, and overtime
- Ability to work outdoors with exposure to extreme heat and cold and other outdoor environmental conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., multiple times a day
