Job Summary
Perform touch-freight tasks requiring lifting products over 75 lbs, pre-inspect trucks and loads, and verify load accuracy. Notify branch management of site hazards, set up job parameters, and inspect the environment for safe loading and unloading. Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery while following all DOT safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE. Requires a valid Class A or B CDL, 12 months of commercial driving experience, and ability to operate heavy equipment in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
