Job Summary
Operate PMH-owned trucks to transport goods and materials, safely loading and unloading cargo using forklifts, donkey lifts, and skid steers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, perform basic truck maintenance, and report mechanical issues promptly. Read road maps to determine optimal delivery routes, ensure accurate load verification, and secure cargo for transit. Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols while communicating with supervisors and project managers. Assist with shop operations, including moving materials and organizing inventory, and report any defects, accidents, or violations immediately. Maintain a professional demeanor representing PMH's core values of commitment, speed, integrity, and teamwork. Work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with occasional Saturdays as required in a construction environment. Valid Oklahoma CDL and forklift certification are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record
- Valid Oklahoma CDL certification
- Forklift certification
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
- Prior experience in construction, logistics, or shop operations
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications abilities with attention to detail
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication (including telephone and technology) skills
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, mathematical or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to multi-task and identify potential conflicts or needs and provide timely resolutions
- Must be detail oriented, respect deadlines and provide timely feedback or responses
- Maintain strict confidentiality as directed, be honest, trustworthy, dependable, demonstrate good work ethic and flexibility
- Physically capable of performing tasks including walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
