Job Summary
Operate commercial vehicles to transport equipment and materials while performing daily vehicle inspections and maintaining DOT compliance. Assist crews with general labor duties, including loading and unloading tools, digging trenches, backfilling excavations, and operating power tools like shovels and jackhammers. Perform site cleanup and restoration tasks such as blacktop and landscaping work, and signal equipment operators for machinery alignment. Follow all company and DOT safety regulations and complete required medical and background screenings. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current Medical Card
- Prior construction and/or utility experience
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to travel within service territories as needed
- Willingness to perform physical labor in addition to driving duties
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Must pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screening
- Must pass a criminal background check and MVR check
- Valid CDL License and acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Ability to work long hours and weekends when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Travel will be required
