Job Summary
Install thermoplastic, waterborne paint, and other pavement marking materials while operating airless paint machines, hand liners, and grinders. Perform work in compliance with DOT and quality guidelines, adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms, maintain and repair equipment, and properly complete time and inventory cards. Maintain proper safety equipment and the required uniform for each job. Must have a valid CDL Class A or B license, mechanical aptitude, and ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds regularly. Work in outdoor conditions around moving equipment and traffic, including nights, weekends, and overtime. Competitive hourly rate of 17-25 USD with health, dental, and vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Must have a valid CDL Class A or Class B driver's license and a good driving record
- Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
- Ability to carry out simple arithmetic functions
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with mechanics
- Ability to use smartphones and mobile applications for field work
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to regularly lift and move 50 to 100 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds
- Must be able to work in outdoor conditions around moving equipment, moving traffic, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate-to-loud noise
- Must be able to work some nights and weekends
- Must be able to work overtime
- Must be able to travel when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in pavement marking, highway construction, asphalt paving, or a related field is a plus
