Job Summary
CDL- Driver responsible for operating company vehicles to transport boats, yachts, tenders, and trailers. Responsibilities include vehicle operation, loading/unloading, route planning using GPS or maps, safety compliance, basic vehicle maintenance, customer interaction, documentation, inventory control, delivery verification, environmental compliance, and emergency response. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CDL license, clean driving record, proven driving experience, knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations, GPS/navigation familiarity, ability to load/unload, strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, independence, and flexibility with hours and routes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Proven experience as a driver (experience in a commercial or delivery driver role preferred).
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.
- Physical ability to load and unload goods or materials as required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and responsible work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and follow established schedules.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and adapt to changing routes or delivery requirements.
