Job Summary
Operate commercial vehicles modified to hold multiple grades of gasoline, safely pumping fuel from trucks to customer assets while following route guidance and delivery orders. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance, maintain required documents for the Driver Qualification file, and keep the truck clean and garbage-free at shift end. Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies while providing excellent customer service and maintaining communication with logistics. Valid CDL A or B with at least two years of commercial driving experience, including one year each of Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Night and overnight shifts are required, with some weekend availability. Receive a $1 increase after 90 days based on performance and earn a quarterly bonus based on total gallons delivered.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL A or B
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Hazmat endorsement for at least 1 year
- Tanker endorsement for at least 1 year
- Preference for candidates who have completed a formal driving training program or attended driver training school
- No major violations (reckless driving, fleeing the scene, accident resulting in serious injury or death, speeds greater than 20 mph in a given zone, drug or alcohol related)
- Pass background checks including Motor Vehicle Report
- Clear a pre-employment drug screening
- No more than 3 moving violations in the prior 36-month period
- Team players demonstrate flexibility
- Provide excellent customer service
- Night/Overnight shifts are required
- Some weekend availability
