Job Summary
Drive company-owned commercial vehicles to deliver various grades of gasoline to local business fleets, establishments, office parks, marinas, and residential customers, ensuring routes stay within 100 miles of the terminal. Directly pump gas from tanker to customer vehicles or assets while maintaining regular communication with logistics coordinators and following all route guidance. Ensure safety best practices are always followed, complete required safety pre and post inspections, and utilize company technology to manage fuel inventory and delivery requirements. Comply with all state and local DOT laws and fill tankers with needed fuel for delivery. Evening, overnight, and weekend shifts are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL A or B
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Driving in the US for a minimum of 5 years
- Hazmat endorsement for at least 1 year
- Tanker endorsement for at least 1 year
- No major violations (reckless driving, fleeing the scene, accident resulting in serious injury or death, speeds greater than 20 mph in a given zone, drug or alcohol related)
- Pass background checks including Motor Vehicle Report
- Clear a pre-employment drug screening
- No more than 3 moving violations in the prior 36-month period
- Evening, overnight and weekends are required
- Must be able to get in and out of the truck multiple times per shift
- Must be able to carry hoses weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb ladders
