Job Summary
Operate semi-tractors and tankers following specified time schedules to and from company or customer locations while adhering to established safety standards and DOT regulations. Perform and record daily pre-trip inspections, including checking fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes, while maintaining a clean vehicle and following preventative maintenance programs. Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed accurately with proper documentation, such as bill of ladings and logbooks, returned to the branch for timely invoice processing. Complete necessary paperwork and record-keeping duties daily, including cargo records and any assigned record-keeping tasks. Work extended hours as business conditions warrant, with opportunities for seasonal fuel hauling coverage.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-A license with tanker and hazmat endorsements
- 2 years of driving experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to safely operate tractor trailer
- Business knowledge
