Job Summary
Drive 3+ ton trucks transporting oversized and overweight loads, delivering modular buildings, containers, and offices to customers with precision and safety. Secure loads using winches and straps, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and conduct roadside repairs like tire changes. Set up, level, and dismantle structures using piers and anchors, while managing logs and customer sign-offs via basic computer skills. Maintain clear communication with dispatch and complete end-of-day clean-up. Work local routes Monday through Friday during the day shift, handling set-ups, teardowns, and value-added features outside the vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- A valid CDL A license
- At least 1 year of recent, verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
- Confidence using winches, straps, and tie-downs to secure heavy loads
- Readiness and physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including assisting with the setup, maintenance, and teardown of modular buildings when not driving
- Physical strength to lift up to 50lbs to shoulder height
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- A Real ID for compliance and travel readiness
- Monday-Friday Day Shift
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience with oversize load hauling, strongly desired!
- Hands-on experience transporting containers and/or modular buildings is a plus!
- Familiarity with Landoll or Low-boy trailers, preferred
