Job Summary
Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer to transport scaffold materials to jobsites and yards, loading and unloading equipment including frames, braces, and planks. Secure loads properly, perform routine vehicle inspections, and report maintenance needs while following DOT regulations and company safety procedures. Organize materials in the yard and on delivery sites, communicate with dispatch and staff regarding deliveries, and support warehouse or yard labor operations when not driving. Maintain a clean driving record and possess at least two years of experience in construction or material transportation environments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Clean driving record
- MINIMUM 2 years' experience in construction, industrial, scaffold, or material transportation environments
- Ability to lift heavy materials weighing 50 lbs. or more and work in a physical outdoor environment
- Ability to safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles
- Ability to work early mornings and occasional overtime as needed
- Documentation establishing their identity and authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience is a plus
