Job Summary
Drive and operate semi-trucks and semi-trailers to pick up and deliver construction materials in the Leander/Austin area. Safely secure loads, perform pre/post trip inspections, and verify paperwork for accuracy. Complete basic vehicle maintenance and up-keep while complying with all safe work practices and DOT regulations. Locate and read GPS instructions to ensure accurate deliveries. Must possess a Class A CDL, two years of experience, and pass drug testing. Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs. Earn $21.00-$23.00+ per hour with 401(k) matching and health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Traffic laws, DOT regulations & driving knowledge
- MUST be able to pass pre-employment as well as random drug testing
- Listening and verbal communication skills
- Dependability
- CDL – Class A
- 2 years' experience MINIMUM required
- Certificate from an accredited CDL school
- 21 years or older
- Capable of lifting heavy material up to 80 lbs
