Job Summary
Drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer to haul oversized pipe using steerable pole trailers (40 ft, 60 ft, 80 ft), ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness of deliveries. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, securing loads, obtaining delivery signatures, route mapping, dispatch communications, maintaining driving/delivery logs, adhering to FMCSA/DOT regulations, and working overtime/weekends as needed. Must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and working both inside and outside in varied conditions; proficient with electronic logging systems and GPS routing.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with no manual restrictions
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must pass DOT physical, drug screen and criminal background check
- MVR must meet company and FMCSA DOT standards
- Pipe hauling experience preferred
- Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
- Proficient using electronic logging systems, GPS and other routing systems
- Map reading and route planning experience
- Self-starter who works well independently
